On my way to visit my friend who’s confined at the National Kidney and Transplant institute (NKTI),I showed my ID to the lobby guard to get a pass to the hospital. I was amused that he just placed my ID on a stand and handed it back to me after a few seconds. I can’t help my curiosity so I asked what he did and he showed me the computer screen displaying the scanned copy of my ID. So what he has on his post was what seemed to be a barcode scanner . Genius!
