During our dinner at a mall, Liv asked me if theft and robbery cases in the Philippines have been contained. I asked her why and he replied that she’s just amused the most of the young people she sees on the streets and in the malls have cameras hanged to their necks and the laptops are just about on every table where WiFi access is free.
I told her that crimes here are still the same and maybe kids nowadays are just as daring as the robbers so regardless if they’ve got their cameras by draining their parents’ pockets or having the best laptop deals, they do not care if they are putting their necks on the chopping block. They just wanted to be “in” or just be noticed.
