The longer my hair gets, the more dry and lifeless it gets, I promised myself that as soon as I get back from my vacation, I will be giving my hair its due attention. I am now into taking creatine supplements to revive my hair. I do not want to get hair treatment that in the end will cause more damage than good. I want to grow my tress long, I actually think of getting big soft curls.

What is more stressful about having a vacation away from office is thinking of what to bring your colleagues back. Being a Filipino, it is an unwritten rule to think of bringing anything for relatives, friends or colleagues. As I checked on backwoods cigars price, I began to stuff my loot bag with it. Although I am a health advocate, I took the liberty of handing them down to very special people thinking that they would not light them.

In general, I would rate our out of the country vacation an 8 out of 10. We might have come across some bumps along the road but we managed to find joy in it. Although the place we stayed in is far from the OuterBanks rentals that are being offered elsewhere, we have had decent place to stay in. At the end of the day, it is not about the leisure but it is about the pleasure. I would not have it the other way.

I was surprised to learn this morning (coming back from long days off) that our patient diagnosed to have 3-vessel disease went home against medical advice. It was for the reason of lack of funds. Having that type of disease, the patient is at risk of chest pain or worse, heart attack. In times like this, I begin to think that it is the focal point of investment to get medical insurance.
There have been patients in our institution whose medical expenses were shouldered by Medicare plan. It is about time to give it a serious thought.

I have so many cases to write about but I have little time to research on it. While most of our patients are getting better, the situation in the ward gets tougher as days go by.
We have this patient who we kept avoiding. Like what the one of the cardio fellows has complained, the patient’s case and attitude are toxic, her relatives are difficult to handle and to top it all off is her attending physician as demanding and as irrational as her patient.
We try our hardest to understand that the patient is on her end stage of cancer and she deserves all the best care that she could have. The thing is, the patient, her relatives and her attending are known to be inconsiderate. We just could take their attitude anymore.
They kept on complaining about our ward’s service but they kept on choosing our ward to have the patient confined in. It is just too much and our head nurse could not agree more.

After so much of bargaining, I have finally disposed of my Samsung Omnia Pro. I needed a small and hand phone that I can bring with me during my runs. I am now using the ever reliable Motorola Razr that has been with me for over four years already. I still want to protect it from scratches so I bought a new motorola case that will surely protect it wherever I put it.

While I was watching after my 2 nieces who got hospitalized due to systemic viral infection, another stress-inducing situation popped up. My sister who just arrived from our home to the hospital and just went out to buy us some food, got a text from our nanny saying that there is a huge fire going on in the neighbourhood. She immediately called me to inform about the mishap asking me to stay in the hospital while sorts things out.

A few minutes, she texted me that the fire nearby has been contained and was declared fire out. I really pity my sister and now that the kids are out of the hospital, I wanted to give her something to say Thank You for being the best mom there is. I am looking forward to buying her Mother’s Day flowers online

Neglecting or setting aside one’s priority in having health insurance is one thing but missing on seniors life insuranceseniors life insurance is another. Working at a health institution, it is hard to see the loved ones left with nothing and it is hardest to see a spouse left with nothing.
It is really imperative to squeeze in our budget getting an insurance. I always tell this to myself. It is form of investment.
