Since my doctor has doubled has my steroids dose, yet again, I began to eat voraciously. Good thing I am able to contain by craving for food but on the gray side, zits are starting to pop on my face and body. This thing I have no control over. I am looking for the best acne treatment to make me pimple free.

Ever since I have I caught this disease, I have been trying to go natural, besides going vegetarian. Even in choosing beauty products, I almost always choose those that are chemical free and if possible organically produced. Like this lip gloss from Burt’s Bees, that uses all natural ingredients in most of their products.
Burt’s Bees is more than lip balm.

I have been trying to be on fruit and vegetable diet since I need to eat low salt and low fat foods. Going green and fruity really aids in digestion and it serves as sort of colon cleanser. Like a dieter’s diet plan, I also have my cheat days but I am trying to deal away with it because the more I indulge the more I become prone to abusing my “liberty”.

I got a text from my officemate asking for my dentist’s address. Her gums are swollen ad her dentist is nowhere to be found for almost a year already.
He braces have been removed by my dentist and she is scheduled for a fitting of retainers today. I told her to get dental discounts from the dentist.

There are so many reasons for having halitosis or bad breath. It may be acute or chronic and most of the causes are poor dental hygiene, tooth or gum disease, or intestinal disorders.
Either cause, I think it is hard for someone to know that his or her breath stinks especially if the disease is chronic. For the reason that he or she is already used to his smell, which is like a body odor.
While it is curable, the dilemma lies on how to break the news to the person concerned especially if that person is our friend. Simply because we do not want to hurt his or her feelings.
I have a groupmate whose breath would really make your stomach turn and this observation I chose to keep to myself because it is a sensitive personal issue. I was just surprised to hear from my other groupmates while we were having our late lunch that they’ve been thinking of a tactful way in telling our groupmate that he has breath issue.
So while we save someone else’s life, how could we save our groupmate from further humiliation without making him feel humiliated?

Being on hospital duty and being sick for quite some time now, the need for life insurance leads is very palpable. The reality in sky high cost of checkups and medications is pulsating. I always here from the patients that in these times, it is forbidden to get sick. The healthcare issue here in the Philippines has never gotten any serious attention that is why people are clinging to health insurance and to those who do not have any just rely on the social service.

We were sent to our Makati main office today  for some work immersion.

I was excited not because of it but because I have the reason to go to Gold’s Gym in Glorietta afterwards.  It’s Friday, it means it’s Yogilates day!

I felt so stretched out.  The routines are not as easy as they look when they are being performed by the instructor.  But it’s all worth it.  This is the class that does not require leg work (yeah, my feet are still swelling) but yet again, it focuses on strengthening your core while releasing your body tensions.

The challenging routines although make your muscle shake really do not cause soreness. You can just feel some muscles have been work out or stretched, so to speak, but it is not painful.

I wish I could do yoga everyday.  It’s really invigorating especially when you have a sauna bath afterwards.

For a person who seldom perspires, what I experienced last night was a total body workout.

I attended the level 2 Yoga class yesterday at Gold’s Gym Robinsons Galleria Ortigas. I used to attend Yoga Classes at Gold’s in Glorietta but I think those classes were for beginners. Since I was at the gym already yesterday I did not let the opportunity pass. Level 2 won’t hurt, I told myself.

The Yoga instructor was there speaking very softly telling us what to do. Oh, well from the looks of it, the lot are regular attendees as they actually know what to do even before the instructor could finish his sentence. Only a handful was being corrected on their postures and positions, myself included so I find it advantageous.

The positions being “dictated” to be done are the ones that I can see on TV. Standing on one foot, doing the Indian sit, standing on both feet and legs forming a pyramid, lying on our backs. But I am telling you, they are not as easy as they look. Maybe that’s why I sweat so hard.

As I feel my body shakes trying to keep a balance and not to fall on my bum and to “normalize” my breath, my forehead is like an open faucet with my sweat dripping so fast down to the floor.

Unlike the after-Yoga sessions I have had, I do not feel that my core though has been worked out to the fullest. I do not feel sore at all. What did I do or did not do?

If I were to rate the session from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest, I would lift a score card of 6. I’d prefer to attend the Yogilates in Glorietta as you can actually feel that the core is being worked on during and after the session plus the instructor actually does the rituals along with the students.
