A time to rejuvinate

I have been feeling a little under the weather for the past couple of days. I really feel so tired and I think being punctual for almost a year is taking its toll on me. I can feel that stress growing in my body. I am begging for very good days off in order for me to focus on self rejuvination. And those days are on the way. I am going to pamper myself.

What I am thankful for being a reliever is I got to have four days off on top of my 5 days off. I am thinking of what will I do with these days off from work. I have been wanting to go back to Baguio City and enjoy the freezing weather there. I heard that there are new recreational activities there that includes Polaris ATV. I am so excited to be back home.

My friend in Singapore who works for a resorts reservation company has asked me join her in her trip to China. She has secured a free resorts accommodation in a remote place there. The resort will be free in October and it is winter season there so she made me extra excited by asking me to prepare my winter attire that include my snow boots. I wish I could get vacation leave for this.

I have not seen this sorority sister of mine for almost four years, so I decided to pay her a visit during my long days off. She lives in San Fernando, Pampanga. Almost an hour drive from the busy streets of Manila.
Pampanga being known as the food capital of the country, has so may ntive delicacies to offer that I am craving for.
I made her promise that we will forget about our diet dramas and dig in to the mouth-watering dishes this side of the island.
I completely forgot about my I-want-to-lose-my-excess-baggage rants when I started to sink my teeth in the sinful offerings of this town.
After a day of pigging out, I am back on the road to the chaos and heat of Manila. I am beginning to think of coming back again but then again, I need to shake off some fats naturally and do away with the instant weight loss effect of diet pills

A little R and R for myself

After my PM shift tomorrow, I will be off for four days. I have requested for these as I plan to get a hair treatment. A form of R and R for myself. To top it off, I am thinking of getting myself a full body massage at my favourite spa center. While I applaud the masseuse there in relaxing my tense muscles, I find it uncomfortable with the smell of the massage room. I think it needs some spa filters to lose the not-so relaxing smell of the supposedly relaxing room.

I have met up with my old pal tonight. He let me have a “break in” on his Loaded Fish. He’s given me until the 21st to decide whether I would keep it or let go of it. I have not given it a test drive as I am caught up with so many activities in the hospital. I do not have helmet and pads yet so I have to ride on it in broad daylight for safety reasons. The first time I tried long board skates, I really had a blast. I remember having the exact same feeling the first time I went on atv racing

My birthday is about to come and I promised by apprentice batchmates that we will be going out to celebrate it. They want some karaoke-type bar where they could belt out while enjoying the food and drinks. I want them to enjoy the day as much as I do for myself that is why I am scouting for the best entertainment centers to give my day a blast without draining my pocket.

My former patient who is now in Switzerland is planning to be back in Manila for his follow up check up. For his one month of stay, he plans to go on scuba diving. He’s been asking for my opinion if he’s going to take again the condo that he once rented during his stay in Manila. I suggested that for a change this time, she should try some Outer Banks vacation homes
