Major cleaning up coming right up!

Computer crash is the worst nightmare that could happen to anyone. That is why I am so obsessed with backing up my files repeatedly. My files are so huge that I got a huge stack of CDs already. It is so huge that my room is literally almost filled with it. I am trying to clean up my room that is why I am thinking of getting a cd storage that could assure me that my files will remain safe forever.

Losing communication

I was not able to use my cell phone in Singapore for two reasons. One, my international roaming with Globe did not activate although I received a confirmation text that it will be activated within 24 hours. Two, I was engrossed tinkering with my cell phone and the battery was drained and I forgot to bring my charger. I wish I had ls14250 battery so I did not have problems communicating with my friends there.

Learning the ropes

There are so many new stuff to learn about owning a car and it does not start and stop at learning how to drive. One must also know each and every part that makes the car run and how to troubleshoot any problem that may arise. This is the reason that I contain myself and enjoy the freedom of commuting. I did not know that a roller chain is involved in auto mechanics.

It is now surprising to see how advertising evolved. From the usual still photos on billboards to the larger than life moving graphics. Those led powered media movers’ blinding lights surely catch one’s attention. I always dream of seeing this fantastic led lighting at http://www.ledsupply.com which dominate Time Street in New York. I am hoping to be infront of seizure-inducing lights as they dance to the hustle and bustle of the big apple.

I was strolling at a local mall and when I passed by a photo processing shop, I cannot help but reminisce the time when we used to have films in our cameras and have them developed at a nearby photo processing shop for developing. With a little curiosity nudging me on my side, I decided to stop by the said shop to see if there are still old school cameras and I was surprised to see that along with the digital fuji cameras, there are still traditional cameras that use films on their showcase.

Finally, after almost a month of getting drowned with the ward’s toxicity level, I came to get out with my colleagues to catch some movies. I felt guilty that I had to leave my practicing charge nurse completing her tasks but I already did my part lightening up her load. We need to run to catch the movie’s last full show. As we hit the escalators toward the cinema, I caught a glimpse of sony lcd tvs on a showcase in an appliance store. I just said to myself, I have been a Sony believer and one day, I will be getting that TV in my living room.

I am thinking of getting a replacement for my hand-me-down cell phone. I am really loving its simplicity yet functionality. It has not given me any problems from the time it was given to me by my uncle, aside from getting the battery replacement. The only disadvantage of this cell phone is I do not get to enjoy the free WiFi at certain hotspots because it does not have WiFi feature. Come, November, when I am done with two of my deferred transactions on my credit card, I promised myself to get a new blackberry phone. I am considering BlackBerry curve. I hope it will also last me a lifetime.

I really love the sporty atmosphere in the ward. My colleagues are into maintaining a healthy lifestyle amidst the sticky situation in the hospital. Since it is raining, I did not have the luxury of time doing my routing run. I offered my water proof MP3 to my colleague who plans to run 21k in the next leg of the Unliab Run. He politely declined my offer and said that he just need to find water proof accessories for ipod so he could have has MP3 playing even in the rain.

I have been to Singapore once and the experience was good . I have been wanting to get another opportunity to get there and I think this time of the year is the most perfect timing as it is the grand Singapore sale. I really wanted to check out their electronics sale especially the computers. I think having this laptop around for more than two years is enough to let it go. I need to keep up with the demands of my work and with my lifestyle. Geez, I need to get a very good deal.
