Long before I signed my job offer in the hospital, I told myself that I would just buy time and stay here for a year. Well, it has been almost two years and I am still stuck in here. Switching career is really far from consideration but given that I will still do the same tedious tasks, I would like to get serious recognition for fulfilling them. It makes me envious to learn about my friends who got Beverage/Sommelier Jobs that really bring them so much pride and money. I just have to wait for the right time to come.

I have been invited to attend a baby shower for a friend who is 8 months on the way. I really loved her fashion sense as she did not lose it even during her pregnancy. She is sporting very stylish Keyword: maternity clothes that look dainty on her. I am betting that she will be nurturing a baby fashionista once her baby says hello to the world.
I remember my officemates telling me that I will also be one fashionable preggy woman in the future.

I cannot seem to shake off my head the equestrian boots one of the characters in Pretty Liars is wearing . I am not actually fond of riding horses but seeing the riders wear the most fashionable riding gears, it makes me wish that I am really an equestrian. For now, I will contain myself into wearing snow boots that my aunt sent me.

I once saw it on a local reality TV. Pepe Smith’s kids were desperate to take him off the cigarette smoking habit that caused him serious lung disease. His daughters have thought of buying him e cigarette that mimics a real cigarette minus the deadly nicotine and smoke. Smith found it weird at first but in the end he got the hang of it and swore by it. There are really cool inventions that are perfect substitutes for some stuff.

This is good. My friend has just got her US Visa approved and she is off to Florida just before summer bids goodbye. She will stay with her folks there who are into laid back lifestyle. She is eager to try fishing with them and before she left the country, I volunteered to help her find the best florida fishing guide. I hope she catches some good trout and make a sumptuous meal out of it.

It is September 1st and it is the first day of “ber” months leading us to December 25th which is Christmas Day. Christmas is one of the biggest holiday celebrated around the world. As early as one people this side of the planet are trying to beat the Christmas rush by starting to complete their Christmas gift list. Kids gifts are the on the top of everyone’s list as children are the center of this special occasion. I, for one, have so many god children and nieces to give gifts to not that I am complaining. Seeing the joy in every child’s eye as he opens his Christmas present is priceless.

I never expected that I will be in this situation again. I asked for the answers to my questions and I must not believe in signs. Signs are subject to one’s interpretations. I do not want to look like I am forcing things to happen. I have been waiting for the right time to come but it has been like forever. While everyone is savouring the sweet taste of victory, I am still left hanging and wishing that I were in their shoes. I have yet to claim my part of happiness in life both in my career and in love. I wanted to chill for a while and smell the flowers not thinking that I am not getting any younger but reality hits me big time as the younger people around me are acting as if they are in a race. I am still asking myself whether or not I should keep up with them. I still cannot get my head around the things that are or are not happening to my life.

I am thinking of getting a replacement for my hand-me-down cell phone. I am really loving its simplicity yet functionality. It has not given me any problems from the time it was given to me by my uncle, aside from getting the battery replacement. The only disadvantage of this cell phone is I do not get to enjoy the free WiFi at certain hotspots because it does not have WiFi feature. Come, November, when I am done with two of my deferred transactions on my credit card, I promised myself to get a new blackberry phone. I am considering BlackBerry curve. I hope it will also last me a lifetime.

I woke up and found myself watching the MTV VMA 2011. I was wondering if the female singer was just wearing leaves patched on her skin or they were attached to a lace bodystocking. It was puzzling me as the lights are hiding the details of the singer’s wardrobe. One thing is for sure though, she rocked the costume big time. She actually wowed the audience.

What I really like about the sprucing being made in our staff lounge are the new fixtures. I particularly love the hummer h1 custom floor mats that are really out of this world. I mean they are so beautiful that I am having second thoughts of wiping my shoes on them before I chill on the Italian leather sofa. This is the life of the rich and famous….oh well, almost.
